Weekly Favorites #34

I know i have been  MIA the couple of months but I have made a resolution to post more regularly.
For the few readers who were actually wondering ha ha ha.

Number One. This past week I watched something that made me feel 15 again.

There were clips of old music videos and home recordings of performances before they made it big.

This documentary reminds you that these guys are really talented. They can harmonize and sing a Capella no problem. They really know what they are doing. And, they still have their moves as well.

It was really cool to hear a little bit about how the group formed and how the guy that put them together, Lou Pearlman, actually ended up going to jail.

I was just really impressed that these guys are still together after 20 years. Even though they might disagree and argue, they really do care about each other. Disagreement is to be expected in any business.

I only felt like there were two downsides. First, This documentary was entertaining but  I actually wish there had been more of it. It felt like they barely scratched the surfaced. Second, there were quite a few f bombs thrown around, mostly by Nick. I realy do hate that word.

I am now bound and determined to see them in concert. They are supposed to be recording a new album at the end of a year and tour through 2017.This documentary is now on Netflix.

2. The Cokeville Miracle

Here is a quick synopsis.
In 1986 Cokeville made national headlines when a madman and his wife entered the elementary school with guns and bomb. They gathered over 100 children and teachers into a small room, and made a demand: $200 million dollars for the lives of the children - but then the bomb went off... How did a bomb that should have leveled the room take only two lives that day, the madman and his wife? Each child, each adult who made it out of that room has a story to tell. Follow the Sheriff's investigator Ron Hartley as he pieces together the evidence, including stories of prayer and divine intervention from multiple witnesses. Gather the evidence and decide for yourself. Do you see coincidence, or do you see miracles?

I know there have been a lot of good movies come out lately like Jurassic World and Inside Out, but I really thought this one was great. I even started tearing up near the end, and I never cry during movies. I will say that other than the madman and his wife, the acting was not really "Oscar Worthy"  but the whole message about the power of prayer was beautiful. It will make you stop and think about God's hand in your life. I highly recommend it.

3. Aussie Dry Shampoo.

I think I have finally found a dry shampoo I love.  I have found that while this dry shampoo still makes your feel heavy, it keeps your looking clean. For me, this dry shampoo doesn't make your hair look quite as dry as others that I have used. And it smells great.
The can even lists 7 claims right on the package.  I'd have to say I agree with all of them.  ,
1st Day Clean Look
Freshness Boost
Lightweight Fullness
Color Protection,
Refreshed feel,
Matte Finish
Aussome Scent.

4-Hunter Hayes New Music Video for "21"
I completely love Hunter Hayes. I have tickets to see him with Lady Antebellum.
I  am tempted to upgrade my ticket to do the VIP Meet and Greet with Hunter. The concert in Utah is on Wed. July 29th, I work full time, and I was told with the meet and greet, you need to be a the venue around 2:15.  I would have to take a half day off of work. I don't know what to do!!! Somebody help me.
