First Look at 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier' Now in Production

Shooting is underway! Disney has released an official press release and first look set photo from Marvel Studios' upcoming sequel Captain America: The Winter Soldier, perfectly timed almost one month before Iron Man 3 kicks off this year's summer movie season. The first look photo only shows Chris Evans returning as Cap standing on the set (the objects to each side of him are lighting stands and reflectors, not props) with the iconic shield strapped to his back, standing in front of the other iconic S.H.I.E.L.D. image. This might be right before one of the scenes in the concept art recently posted, but nonetheless, it's exciting knowing production is underway on this sequel - especially with the cast and crew they've landed this time. Brad Pitt in Final Talks to Lead David Ayer's WWII Tank Drama 'Fury'

After directing last year's sadly overlooked police thriller End of Watch, complete with stellar performances from Jake Gyllenhaal and Michael Pena, we learned that David Ayer was going into World War II for his next film, Fury. QED International picked up the script from Ayer back in February for a cool million, their biggest spec script deal ever. Now the project is heating up as Deadline reports Brad Pitt is currently in final negotiations to star in the film set in 1945 during the final days of the war as the Nazi regime is collapsing. The story focuses on five crew members of an American tank called Fury as they head into battle. Read more.

New Amazing Spider-Man 2 Set Photo Reveals Some Electro Destruction
With Electro as its central villain, Amazing Spider-Man 2 is likely going to be chock full of electricity blasts, explosions and fires, and today director Marc Webb gave us a sneak peek at the action with his latest set photo of the day posted to , as seen above (which came with the message "Day 45. Kellan Lutz to Lead Renny Harlin's Competing 'Hercules 3D' Project

Just this past February, we learned that Die Hard 2 and Cliffhanger director Renny Harlin was working on Hercules 3D, his own project about the mythological Greek hero set up at Nu Image and Millennium, which will likely end up competing with Brett Ratner's Hercules project starring Dwayne Johnson and currently slated for release in the summer of 2014. Production is supposed to begin this May in Bulgaria, and now Harlin finally has a lead for his film as Heat Vision reports The Twilight Sagastar Kellan Lutz will play the title hero in the film that puts a little bit of romance at the heart of the familiar story. Read more.
Are Neeson & Harrelson the 'Highwaymen' Who Killed Bonnie & Clyde?

Here's an interesting development. While a new take on the story of Bonnie & Clyde has been developing since 2011, and Emile Hirsch is slated to star in a miniseries about the infamous couple for The History Channel and Lifetime, The Blind Side director John Lee Hancock has an interesting approach to the story we haven't yet heard of. Deadline has word that Media Rights Capital and Universal Pictures have just made a deal to co-finance Highwaymen, a drama that will focus on the Texas Rangers that hunted down the bank robbing duo and eventually gunned them down in a blaze of glory. But who will play them? Read on!
Anne Hathaway is Reteaming with Christopher Nolan for 'Interstellar'

Despite landing some fresh blood in the form of Matthew McConaughey for the new sci-fi film Interstellar, director Christopher Nolan will have at least one familiar face from his filmography. Deadline has word that The Dark Knight Rises star Anne Hathaway is currently finalizing a deal to star in the film with Nolan directing a script written by his brother and The Dark Knight trilogy collaborator Jonathan Nolan. Unfortunately, details are still just as sparse as before with most of the information on the project coming from vague details that were around when Steven Spielberg was going to direct the project. Read more.

Jim Carrey To Reunite With Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls Director For Ricky Stanicky

Between 2009 and 2012 Jim Carrey only made two live-action films (Mr. Popper's Penguins and I Love You, Phillip Morris), but this year he is making a come back in a major way. In addition to the recently released The Incredible Burt Wonderstone and the upcoming Kick-Ass 2 - which will be in theaters this August - he is also attached to star in Jared Harris' Loomis Fargo and has now added yet another title to his slate, this time reuniting with Steve Oedekerk, with whom he worked on both Bruce Almighty and Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls.  Read more.
