Olympic Trivia

This blew my mind. I thought it was the neatest thing I've ever heard.
This is Magda Julin

Magda Julin was a daughter of the French music producer Edouard Mauroy. The family moved to Sweden when Magda Julin was 7 years old. She only participated once in World Championships in figure skating and came in only in 6th place. Her victory at the Olympics 1920 (in Antwerp Belgium) was therefore a big surprise. She also won three times the Swedish championships and twice the Nordic championships.

When Magda Julin won her Olympic gold medal in 1920 she was already 3 months pregnant.
