Switched at Birth
This show tells the
story of two teen girls who discover that they were accidentally switched at
birth. Bay Kennish grew up in a wealthy family with two parents and a brother,
while Daphne Vasquez, who lost her hearing as a child due to a case of
meningitis, grew up with a single mother in a poor neighborhood.
It’s actually a
pretty decent show. All of Season 1 and 10 episodes of Season 2 are up on
Netflix.
Parks and Recreation
I don’t know where I
have been that I have never watched this show until now. I feel like a complete
and total slacker. It is so funny, especially Amy Poehler.
Michael Buble
Michael Buble had to
cancel his appearance on the Today Show. He was supposed to be part of the
summer concert series or something but
he made this video to explain why he changed his plans. I thought it was cute.
Thoroughly Modern
Millie
I was able to go see
a local production of Thoroughly Modern Millie. I think the soundtrack is so
fun. The music is pastiche and very jazzy. Here is one of my favorite songs from the
show. I love Sutton Foster.
